Veneers

Have you ever gone into a cosmetic procedure with high hopes only to be shot down immediately looking at your results? You don’t have to worry about that with us! Here at Au Dental, we make sure to keep your smile bright, your teeth healthy, and your expectations high.

We provide dental veneers that look exceptionally realistic, durable, and require little-to-no removal of tooth structure as compared to dental crowns. Enjoy the feeling of natural teeth and the high strength of porcelain with dental veneers!

Porcelain Crowns

We strive to be as conservative as possible in providing dental restorations that are undetectable. With advancements in dental technology, we are now able to offer quality dental crowns with other variations of restorations such as inlays and onlays.

If you come in with a severely compromised tooth, our first line of action would be to preserve the remaining tooth structure and deliver support by providing full-coverage dental crowns.

Dental crowns, if placed right, can create a world of difference for you in the way you look and feel. We believe that it is not only important to provide a dental crown that meets all the functional requirements but one that also ticks all the boxes off of esthetics.

Au Dental provides you with porcelain dental veneers that perfectly replicate the appearance and feel of natural teeth. Nothing’s better than natural!

Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is one of the most cost-effective alternatives to dental veneers to achieve aesthetically pleasing teeth and to correct chipped, fractured, discoloured, misaligned, or worn down teeth.

It is truly an answer to all your dental cosmetic concerns! With a special bonding adhesive, we apply a tooth-coloured resin on your etched tooth surface and sculpt it in the desired shape to incorporate superior finish, greater strength, and flawless esthetics!

Bleaching (in-office and take-home)

Over the years, teeth can become dulled, stained, or lose their sparkle. Yellowing or stained teeth can cause your self-confidence to plummet. Fortunately, these issues can be addressed with the help of teeth whitening procedures.

Our in-office bleaching programs are done by our dentists with ensured safety, reliability, and outstanding results. We make sure that your teeth are whiter while also appearing as natural as possible.

Take-home bleaching kits are also provided for our patients so that you can avail of a teeth whitening session in the comfort of your own home! Our whitenings are easy, non-invasive, and can remove years of stain and colour from your teeth in a single, one-hour treatment. So, show off your pearly whites as you should!

Orthodontics; traditional fixed braces and aligners

Teeth aligning has never been easier. At Au Dental, we make sure your teeth are in the safest hands. Crooked, crowded, or malaligned teeth can not only devalue esthetics but the nooks and crannies in difficultly aligned teeth can become breeding grounds for bacteria and plaque accumulation. Whether you are seeking traditionally fixed braces or modern clear aligners, we have it all.

Young children with extreme malalignment can be easily fixed by metal braces over a period of time, whereas most teens and adults with minor dental alignment issues can opt for clear aligners that do not compromise aesthetics and function. These easy orthodontic procedures can help straighten your teeth and give you the picture-perfect smile you have always wanted!

Cosmetics Re-contouring

Teeth re-contouring or reshaping is one of the most convenient and cost-effective options for fixing chipped, uneven, or poorly aligned teeth. The front teeth are the best candidates for reshaping and bonding. We make sure to remove minimal amounts of tooth enamel in order to change the shape, length, or appearance of the affected teeth.

If you do not want to go with the hassle of getting braces, this procedure can even be a substitute for braces in certain cases. A few nicks here and a few cuts there and viola! – you get a beautiful smile within minutes!

A multi-disciplinary approach combining all or some of the above

A patient may walk in who has a combination of different dental concerns ready to be addressed. In such circumstance, we enable a cosmetic and restorative rehabilitation program that requires a staged, multidisciplinary approach to meet the treatment needs and desired aesthetic outcomes.

Our dental professionals make sure to establish a comprehensive plan that combines the use of dental crowns, veneers, or cosmetic bonding in the restorative phase, with teeth bleaching, orthodontic straightening, and reshaping fulfilling the aesthetic virtues of the procedure.

We guarantee you that when all is said and done, your smile will be brighter than most. We ensure that each treatment plan is personalized and customized to meet the dental requirements of the specific patient. Every dental issue can be fixed!

Children Dentistry

Your baby’s first dental appointment with a specialized pediatric dentist should ideally be before their first birthday or after his or her first baby tooth is visible, whichever comes first.

Our pediatric dentists examine your child’s teeth and gums, take x-rays, and reveal decays that may be present. We will make sure your child is receiving adequate fluoride at home and that his or her teeth are sufficiently taken care of!

Scaling and Polishing

The accumulation of plaque biofilm and tartar around your teeth can give rise to gum problems, progressing even as far as bone and tooth loss. You may also be challenged with a cascade of associated dental problems like tooth decay, bad breath, and widespread infections.

Routine cleanings at Au Dental get rid of a mouthful of harmful bacteria and ensures you a lifetime of exceptional oral health!

Root Planning

Root planing is a process of smoothing, or planing of the exposed surfaces of the roots, successfully removing cementum or dentine that have been impregnated with tartar, toxins, or microorganisms, all of which are responsible for causing inflammation.

When used in conjunction with tooth scaling and polishing, this oral prophylaxis technique helps ensure that your gums and teeth stay healthy and strong.

Periodontal Surgery

When gum disease has progressed and penetrated into the hard and soft surrounding tissues, the oral tissues become unsalvageable unless urgent surgical intervention is undertaken.

Periodontal surgery is designed to restore and regenerate normal form and function of the periodontal structures that have been lost due to periodontal disease. Our Periodontists can help save your gums and restore them back to full health.

Chrome-cobalt Dentures

Chrome-cobalt partial dentures consist of a cast cobalt/chrome base plate that encompasses your natural teeth, which are in turn connected to your denture teeth with acrylic.

They are the most durable of all partial dentures and tend to last much longer than their acrylic-based counterpart, proving to be better investments for the long-term.

Arcrylic Dentures

Quality dentures made from denture acrylic material which are not only strong but also provide moderate esthetics. This type of denture is very easy to be altered and provides an easy and comfortable fit.

Thanks to the moldable material, it can easily influence any adjustment required, unlike metal dentures. This is a cost-effective way to receive complete or partial dentures.

Extractions; Normal and Surgical

Tooth extractions are indicated when a tooth has suffered irreversible tooth decay or damage, to the extent that it will be in the best interest of the patient’s gums and other teeth to have the affected tooth out.

In every treatment we carry out for our patients, tooth extractions will always be the final resort. Your natural teeth are very precious and we will try to save your teeth as much as possible.

Wisdom Tooth Surgery

An impacted tooth can cause a lot of problems for your oral cavity because of the sheer lack of space and the pressure it inserts on the surrounding tissues and the other teeth. You are more likely to have to get your wisdom tooth extracted if you exhibit certain symptoms that make your everyday oral functions difficult to perform. We offer safe and painless wisdom tooth surgeries.

Operculectomy

Operculectomy is a surgical procedure that removes the infected operculum (flap of gum overlying the wisdom teeth).

Often, wisdom teeth are only partially erupted into the mouth and are usually overlapped with gum tissue. It becomes difficult to keep the area clean because of this flap, accelerating the risk of wisdom teeth decay.

Oral Biopsy

Many oral conditions go undetected in the mouth due to their delayed manifestations. An oral biopsy helps identify oral conditions earlier for you to receive treatment sooner.

During an oral biopsy, our specialist removes a small amount of the suspicious tissue from your mouth and sends it to a pathologist, who will check for cancer cells. If cancer is confirmed, a comprehensive treatment plan is put into place.

Cyst Removal

Dental cysts can be serious and if left unchecked can lead to more severe complications, accompanied by intense pain and discomfort. 3D Cone Beam computer tomography can either help to detect cysts when they are small and/or prevent the formation of cysts by removing the initial starting point. The cyst is removed through a window in the bone under a local anaesthetic.

Crown Lengthening

Crown lengthening is a procedure to address an excessive gingival display, otherwise known as a gummy smile. A person with a gummy smile appears to have short teeth and may not be deemed desirable by many individuals. Their teeth are actually the typical size, but excess gum tissue partially covers them. With crown lengthening, you can achieve a balanced and beautiful smile.

Crowns and Bridges

A dental crown is a cover or a ‘cap’ that is snapped into place on top of a prepared tooth in order to restore the structure of the tooth. Since a crown is placed over the tooth, it can not only strengthen a damaged tooth but can also improve the quality of shape, alignment, and appearance.

A dental bridge is recommended for patients who are missing multiple teeth that line continuously in between teeth that are strong enough to support the load of the other artificial teeth.

Implants

A dental implant is a prosthetic device that is specially fabricated to replace missing teeth. The device is made up of a titanium post that is screwed into the jaw bone, over which an abutment crown is attached to create a natural tooth-like implant.

Dental implants promote great aesthetics and functionality, are durable, require minimum maintenance, and do not carry risks of loosening over time unlike dentures or dental bridge works.

Bruxism

Teeth grinding, clinically known as bruxism is considered as a parafunctional activity which means that jaw clenching, tooth tapping, cheek biting, object/lip biting, teeth grinding are also involuntary and non-functional.

Teeth grinding patients may get prescribed mouthguards or mouth splints by our dentists.

These are custom made for your mouth and are delicately fitted over your upper or lower teeth. Wearing such an appliance will reduce jaw the sensation of clenching or grinding your teeth and jaw pain.

Root Canal Treatment including for molars

A Root Canal Therapy (RCT) is an endodontic procedure that strives to save a decaying, diseased, or dying tooth and relieve dental pain. During root canal therapy, any living tissue within the teeth including the pulp and nerves along with the decay is removed.

The general dentist or a specialist called endodontist then proceeds to clean and disinfect the canals, shapes it, and packs the tooth with proper dental materials to preserve the tooth and its functional abilities.

White-coloured fillings

Tooth-coloured fillings, also called white fillings, are dental fillings that restore and mimic the natural appearance of tooth structure.

In addition to restoring teeth that have fractured or decayed, tooth-coloured fillings may also be used cosmetically to change the size, colour, and shape of teeth.
